TEACHING

 In its role as a research technical institution, ROTECO fosters the discovery and study of critical issues in areas of academic and professional study. Rigorous assessment and review are central to advancing its research programs and creative activities, as are participation and leadership in national and international academic disciplines.


PUBLIC LIFE
In its role as a contributor to public life, ROTECO fosters reflection on the values and goals of society. The university augments its own programs and enriches the larger community with its libraries, expertise, facilities and other activities.

Department, staff, and students of the school are encouraged to contribute time and expertise to community and professional service.

 

  ROTECO  runs non-residential programmers. However, some hostel facilities have been put at the disposal of students albeit limited.

The school encourages and actively supports students to form vibrant clubs. This promotes the development of attributes that will enhance their personal and professional lives.

In our role as teaching institution, ROTECO offers instruction in certificate,  programs through its  faculties of  Engineering and Informatics.

The college commits itself to providing broad and practical instruction to all its students, and encourages interdisciplinary work and the integration of instruction and research opportunities.

History

SINCE 1969 ROYAL TECHNICAL COLLEGE has been involved in the provision and development of high quality education in the technical level up to now.

The school progressed rapidly through deregulation and privatization to become the main source of teaching and certification in Technical course for Ghana Telecom employees as well as other institutions in Ghana and West Africa
